As a company started by two sisters and their mother after a life-changing trip to Italy, Vietri has always held family values at the heart of what they do. Scarlett Alley has sold Vietri since the beginning, when the store was founded by Liz and her mother, MK over 20 years ago. Scarlett Alley and Vietri both share the same passion for family values and building a strong family business, and we've always loved this connection shared.
All Vietri collections are designed by true Italian artists and are carefully handcrafted in Italy. The time and passion put into each piece by the artists can be felt by the owner, they're truly special works of art, and this is what set them apart from other dinnerware pieces and sets. As for product care, all stoneware pieces are microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher safe and are even chip resistant and all earthenware pieces are dishwasher safe while most of them are microwave safe.
