Shawlux is an international design house created by a brother and sister duo that specializes in the manufacturing of fine quality scarves, wraps, and shawls made from cashmere and silk. They use real life pictures to capture moments, scenes, and cities. They then manipulate the colors and hues and print these images on a silk/cashmere scarf. Prints like these are not the sort of repetitive patterns we're used to--stripes, dots, or flowers repeated across the fabric. They're abstractions, and they make you stand back, then look close, the way you would in a museum.
