Connections Benefit Event

Thursday November 8th, Scarlett Alley will be hosting a benefit party and premiere photography exhibit of the works of Alice Rizen. The event, "Connections" will be benefiting Jesse's Day charity. 15% of sales throughout the entire day will be donated to Jesse's Day, but be sure to stop by between 5-8 and have a cocktail and some snacks while you shop for this great cause.

Alice's work is inspired by her community and her travels. In her own words, "We all make connections with the world around us. This photographic show is called 'Connections' because these photographs represent how I connect with the world around me."

Some of her work features the sculptural art "Conversations in Nice" by Jaune Plensa. Alice was inspired by the figurative work and how it "represents a dialoge on connections between our world's continents."

The event will benefit Jessie's day Dollars for Scholars. Jessie's Day is sponsored by Gift of Life Donor Program. The money raised will be used to provide scholarships for young transplant recipients to pursue their dreams of higher education.
