His original designs from the American Modern collection are being brought back into production by the company Bauer Pottery. Starting in Louisville, Kentucky, and then flourishing in Los Angeles, California, J. A. Bauer Pottery Company created simple, yet beautiful stoneware from the late 1880s to the early 1960s. Bauer Pottery has become highly collectable.
