Iittala Turquoise Dishes

The other day my husband came into the store to give his opinion on a perfume we have that I really like (he loved it, by the way!). He decided to look around a little bit while he was in.
As a guy who never notices anything having to do with dishes or glassware, I was surprised when he took a real interest in our Iittala ceramic dinnerware. He loved the turquoise set the most, the modern design mixed with such a fun bold color was his favorite.
A lot of diets recommend eating off of a blue plate, apparently the color blue is an appetite deterrent. Now, my question is, does this apply to turquoise too? Because I could really use some help getting bikini ready...
